You and your family are in for a very special meal together, probably the coolest dining experience in Charleston. As you’re waiting for your table, get a picture on their famous oversized beach chair or relax and grab a drink at the bar. You’re about ready to eat at the Best All Around Restaurant in the entire Charleston area. I highly suggest soaking in the Page’s Okra Grill experience. They are just as delicious and way less expensive. Page’s portions are very large, so try and encourage the kids to choose the Kid’s Meal options. It’s true, there’s something great for everyone in your party, including your kids. Just to give you an idea of how good these guys are, my wife is a vegetarian and she loves their Vegetable Platter as much as any dish in Charleston. Everything on the menu is incredible, including their burgers and seafood, so just go for what you’re in the mood for. Their BBQ Pulled Pork Platter, Country Fried Steak, Famous Fried Chicken and Seafood Mac & Cheese are also in my top five. The waffle is filled with cheddar cheese, sage sausage, roasted corn and jalapeños and the boneless fried chicken is as good as it gets. The Chicken & Waffles are way up there on my list. I could literally list everything on their menu as a suggestion, but here are my favorites. You really want a little of everything, so you may even want to do a little plate sharing. Page’s is not a local secret, so there’s usually a bit of a wait, even during off hours. Page’s serves breakfast (brunch), lunch and dinner and they have a really cool bar area. Their prices are fair, it’s an insanely chill environment and everything on their menu is in the top three in Charleston. For instance, Rodney Scott has the best ribs and Lewis BBQ has the best brisket, but Page’s Okra Grill has something delicious for everyone, including their Pulled Pork Platter. There are so many great restaurants in Charleston, but most of them are somewhat one dimensional. Here’s why Page’s Okra Grill is our absolute favorite. They also say they have a difficult time picking out a favorite dish and have a difficult time ordering, because they love everything on the menu. If you ask the Low Country locals, they almost always say Page’s is the best all around restaurant in all of Charleston.
